JONATHAN LINSLEY:

Before 'PATIENT 17', Jonathan spent 2 years working with Johnny Depp and Jerry Bruckheimer on

(Pirates of the Carribean 3), in the turquoise paradise. So when we asked him to work with us, we weren't sure he would accept. But after reading the script, he said yes and helped us in a way we never imagined. Jonathan understood the constraints of low budget filming, which was a relief for us. He is also an accomplished director. Jonathan plays DR.GILBERT,

a ruthless detective, a character totally opposite to his real nature.

SAUL REICHLIN:

A nomination for the Best Actor on the Broadway production 'Fiddler on the Roof', an award for Best Unabridged Audiobook, a role opposite Danny Glover (Mandela) and a list of roles in West End productions that never ends! Saul has huge experience and has given a lot of weight to the film. He has a fantastic memory, very strong physical features and above all

a fantastically deep, clear and warm voice. Here, Saul plays the ambitous PROFESSOR BERNARD, the head

of the psychiatric institution, a key character to the plot. Passionate and perfectionist, Saul likes to rehearse a lot, pays attention to every detail and questions every intention of his character to build him perfectly.

MATTHEW CHAMBERS:

The UK star of the British series DOCTORS plays NO NAME, a calculated killer who shows no mercy and yet seems vulnerable when confronted with his own tragedy, a character completely different from the real Matthew. He can embody a dark villain with ease and fun and his stillness proves more frightening than the loudest scream. We love his great instincts as an actor and his contribution to improve every scene. He always came up with a better solution, a stronger approach and sold the fight moves well.

OLJAN GENC:

Oljan is our youngest member of the cast, a bright and mature actor although he was only 18 at the time of filming. He looked wild and angry. Perfect for the role of ETHAN, a young violent character who scares the hell out of the audience, not just because he is violent but because he is unpredictable. Oljan could embody all that. His face was painted red, a symbol of the blood he shed in the past. Oljan is enthusiastic and always up for anything. He is not only an actor but is also involved in writing and directing.

HANNAH WATERMAN:

A naturally gifted star, Hannah accepted the ultra-complex role of SARAH, the 'PATIENT 17', a patient diagnosed with multiple personality disorder. It was a herculean task to portray 7 different characters but Hannah was up for the challenge. She did a lot of research on the illness, watched a real patient switch personality in front of her and explored every aspect

of the characters she played. Off-screen Hannah can be shy but on 'Action' she became a demon or an angel effortlessly. She is very versatile and dances with emotions in a million ways, a true talent that every actor would wish for.

CHRISTOPHER DUNNE:

What can we say about this guy? He simply is the dream actor for any production, a true talent, an incredibly patient actor with a level of commitment that scares you. We felt really bad having to put him in such horrible conditions ( he plays MICHAEL BENEDICT, a sadistic character who gets tortured in a horrific way) but he insisted on real conditions and that we didn't fake any of the violent action scenes, no tricks, only real time action and emotions. We were worried for him but he wasn't! Chris has worked with major stars in the film industry, including Danny Boyle (28 Days Later), Linda Hamilton (Holy Water) and many more. Despite his high profile CV, he was always humble, easy going and demanding only when it came to the quality of his role.

SOPHIE WALTON:

We didn't look for any specific actor for the role of JADA, a mute character who expresses emotions only through his eyes. Initially we looked for a young boy

as per the script but at the casting we were captivated by Sophie's demure beauty and this 'purity' in her look. Her big blue eyes were so expressive, her acting was gentle and subtle. She was the perfect actress for this strange and difficult role. Jada has facial deformity and scars, so the make up artist created slashes and burn marks on Sophie's face according to the script (over

2 hours of make up).

CORNELIUS MACARTHY:

Cornelius stood out, immediately during the casting for the main role of SAM, a young doctor with a lot of emotional layers. Cornelius is extremely sharp, and extremely good at taking direction. He is proud, fearless, cheeky and enjoys acting a lot. He is very focused and dares to try out new possibilities for a scene, a quality in an actor that every director cherishes.

Cornelius has worked with Danny Boyle (Millions) and Christian Slater in the West End production 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest'. Success and hard work made him sharper and more hungry for challenging roles so he went for it and made his character more alive and vibrant than the one in the script.
